What will my family, friends think
If they find out who (what) I am?
Love is love
Is love is love
Why does it matter who it’s with?
HETERO-, HOMO-, BI-
All just labels meant to divide
Why does it have to be that way?
People are people
Why does it matter who they love?
Why can’t we all be treated the same?
I’m tired of hiding
I’ve been doing it most of my life
Told that who I am is wrong
But God doesn’t make mistakes
So who I am, what I am can’t be wrong
Because He made me
He knew me and who I would be
Long before I was in the womb
I’m not a mistake and I’m not wrong
So I am not going to hide anymore
I am not going to be ashamed
I am not going to be afraid
I am who I am
I love who I love
And I am not wrong
